About Us

Bardi began as a place. It became a feeling.

Bardi is a small village in the Italian Apennines, set among the hills beneath a castle built on red rock.

It’s a place with a strong sense of warmth, hospitality and community. The kind of place where a conversation can turn into a drink, a meal, or an invitation to join tomorrow’s walk. Life moves a little slower, and people seem to make more time for one another.

My family came from Bardi before settling in South Wales, and some of that spirit travelled with them. You could see it in the old Welsh-Italian cafés too: steamed-up windows, hot food, familiar faces and somewhere comfortable to be when the weather outside was grim.

That feeling is what inspired this brand.

To feel Bardi is to feel warm, comfortable, welcome and completely at ease. It’s that point where you stop thinking about what comes next and simply enjoy where you are.

Everything we offer is chosen with that feeling in mind. Sometimes it’s something warm to wrap yourself in. Sometimes it’s something small that makes an evening more enjoyable. Whatever the product, the goal is the same:

to help you feel a little more Bardi.

You don’t have to be in Bardi to feel Bardi.
